With the problems Hostess is facing, it’s most likely the end of the line for the famed Hostess Twinkie snack cake. But did you know that in 1981 they made a Twinkies Soap that look just like unnaturally colored treat? It was shaped just like a real Twinkie and even wrapped up almost exactly like one too (save for the word “soap” on the packaging). No idea if it smelled like Twinkies- I’m sure more than one kid accidentally tasted one. Once in a while they show up on eBay– is soap even still good after 30 years? (photo via)
